When you apply to register, CQC carries out a site visit under Regulation 15 — a review of the physical building from a premises and equipment perspective, not an inspection. QMADS reviews your site first, covering layout and zones, fixtures and fittings, disability access and privacy, so you know whether it will be accepted as a CQC location.
