What will we do?
CQC registration
Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration is a mandatory pre-requisite for all regulated activities. Start-up organisations need to complete registration before they are able to operate. Coupled with the need to raise standards and verify credentials, CQC registration is designed to be detailed and lengthy and could also be a frustrating process. This is an obstacle for many start-ups and expanding businesses as they would need to start operating without delay.
Our CQC registration package is designed to reduce the stress of applying to the CQC as we know exactly what format they need the documents in and what the content needs to be. We know this as we have done CQC Applications for hundreds of clients.
We will prepare your CQC application within 5-7 working days on your behalf. The highlights of the service as required by CQC’s website include following:
- New Provider Application
- New Registered Manager Application
- Statement of Purpose (SoP)
- Quality Management
- Consent Policy & Procedures
- Equality, Diversity, and Human Rights Policy & Procedures

CQC Registration — common questions
We require 7-10 days to draft and submit your applications, once we have submitted your application, it can take anything up to 10-14 weeks for CQC to assess your application, fit and proper person interview and site visit (now, mostly done online except for few providers).
Lets assume we submitted your application today, the first week is a validation stage in which CQC team will check that your application has been filled appropriately on the portal. They may further request business or policy documents which you would need to provide. Once that process is done, your application will be allocated to your Regional Inspector who will then get in touch with you to schedule your Interview.

In the UK, a General Practitioner (GP) cannot consult patients privately without being registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) if they are offering regulated activities such as medical consultations, treatments, or diagnostic services.
If a GP wants to offer private medical services, they must either:
Obtain Practice Privileges – The practice itself must have CQC registration, not necessarily each individual GP, and must provide practice privileges to the GP so they can consult private patients.Register themselves with CQC – If the GP is running their own private service, they must be registered with the CQC to offer medical services.Without CQC registration or practice privileges, the GP cannot legally provide private healthcare services in the UK. It’s essential for GPs to comply with CQC requirements to avoid penalties and legal issues.
